At The Talk KC, mentorship starts with care — a warm meal, a fresh cut, and a safe space to be heard. Every month, we gather Black and Brown boys ages 11–15 in Kansas City for barbershop-based sessions rooted in literacy, identity, and brotherhood.
You can help make those moments happen.
Provide fresh cuts for 5 boys at our monthly session. A haircut helps each young man walk in with confidence and feel his best.
Feed up to 15 people (youth, mentors, volunteers) with a hot, catered meal before each session.
